Octennial - The 8th Installation Ceremony

Octennial - The 8th Installation Ceremony of the Rotaract Club of UPG College is a ceremony that the whole team was looking forward to! It is the day when we finally get inducted and get our official posts.

The day had arrived - 4th August, 2017.

Rtr. Harmindar Singh Patheja, our Rotary President called the meeting to order and the installation ceremony began.

The Secretraiat report for the year 2016-17 was given and the year completion certificates were given to the members and last year's bod and core team.

We bid adieu to our Past President, Rtr. Kirti Kejriwal as she gave her farewell speech. Rtn. Harmindar Singh Patheja then handed over the collar, the charter and the gavel and gong to the Incoming President, Rtr. Purvi Patel.

Our President gave her incoming speech and her year theme speech. The theme "Today is Yours" is a real motivator and her speech made everone even more enthusiastic for the year ahead.The letterhead and the new club logo were also released by everyone.

The Core team and Board of Directors were introduced and inducted. They were given their lapel pins, appointment letters and diaries as well.

Upcoming projects were launched and the new club bulletin "Soar" was also released.

The guests and dignitaries were given a small token of appreciation for gracing the installation ceremony. These token of appreciation were hand made and made by the team.

The Vice President, Rtr. Rashi Rane gave a vote of thanks and thanked everyone for supporting our club.

The secretary along with the Jt. Secretary presented their first Secretariat Report. The podium was open for other club announcements and later the meeting was adjourned.

The evening ended and all the guests were served food and lots of pictures were taken.
