Our Projects

Camaraderie
HRD Initiative
Camaraderie was an HRD initiative conducted at the absolute start of the new rotaract year to break the ice between the board and core. The principal objective of the project was to create a strong team and stronger family. The session consisted of two activities, in the first activity the board and core were divided into two teams. The teams were made to sit extremely away from each other and asked to build a bridge together. The both the teams had to make their respective ends of the bridge with to form of communication or knowledge on what the other team was doing. The teams were given 20 minutes to make their respective bridges, at the end of the time limit they were given 2 mins to assemble the bridge as one complete sturdy bridge. This activity promoted the importance of leadership and communication in the club. For the second activity the board and core were divided into 5 groups then all member from each group were given ice cream cups and a one ping pong ball was given to each team. The team had to get the ball to the finish line by passing it to next member so on and so forth, if the ball fell and was not passed in one try the team had to restart the race from the start line. This activity helped to improve coordination and time management in the club. The initiative was a playful way to introduce important skills that will benefit the club throughout the year.
